Bridgetown (Barbados), June 29: Seasoned ICC umpires Christopher Gaffaney and Richard Illingworth will be the on-field umpires as South Africa play India in the Final of the T20 World Cup 2024, here on Saturday.
The ICC also named Richard Kettleborough as the TV Umpire. Similarly, Rodney Tucker has been named as the Fourth Umpire, while, Richie Richardson picked as the match referee.
The final will be played at the Kensington Oval, which hosts the summit clash for the second time following the 2010 final.
South Africa reached the Final for the first time with a nine-wicket victory over Afghanistan in Trinidad and Tobago. Similarly, Team India outplayed England by 68 runs in the second semi-final in Guyana to set a date with the Proteas for the title fight.
