Bhubaneswar,Dec 2: Two sacred books encapsulating Shri Jagannath’s uncle’s abode were unwrapped at Prachi shrine in Cuttack on Monday.
The books, one titled, ‘Shree Jagannathanka Mamughara’ scripted by litterateur Laxidhar Sahu and other nomenclatured as ‘ Jagannathanka Mamughara’ authored by Bijay Kumar Mohanty, were launched by saint Swami Sudhanand Giri on the Niali-Madhav Temple campus.
After performing some traditional rituals before the deities, the seer, dedicated the sacred scriptures for the devotees of Lord Jagannath.
Worth mentioning, the ‘Shri Jagannathanka Mamughara’, is a research-based book that corelates Shrikshetra Puri with the uncle’s abode of Lord Jagannath, from the facts, legends and findings restored from the Shree Jagannath Cult.
Similarly, ‘Shri Jagannathanka Mamughara’ by Mohanty, is a frantic endeavour to instill the essence of devotion and spirituality among the young & ignited minds.
Among others,Rajakishore Nanda, Bhaskar Puspalak, Laxmidhar Puspalak, Bijay Parida and Akshaya with a scores of servitors of Lord Jagannath joined the occasion.
Trilochan Puspalak, one of the key members of ‘Puspalak Nijog’ of Puri Shri Jagannath Temple co-ordinated the occasion.
