Veteran BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani discharged from Delhi AIIMS

New Delhi, June 27: Former deputy prime minister and BJP stalwart Lal Krishna Advani was discharged from Delhi AIIMS on Thursday afternoon.
The 96-year-old veteran leader was evaluated by a team of doctors from different specialities following old age-related issues.
"Advani was admitted for old age-related issues and has been discharged," the AIIMS official said.
Advani was admitted to the AIIMS here late on Wednesday night.
He served as the Deputy Prime Minister from 2002 to 2004 and was recently conferred the Bharat Ratna, the country’s highest civilian honour, by President Droupadi Murmu. He also served as BJP President three times.
