Puri, Dec 24: In a tragic incident, a youth died after falling into an open drain in Puri.

The deceased has been identified as Babi Choudhury.

The incident occurred when Babi was urinating near the open drain. He suddenly lost his balance and fell into the drain .

Hearing his screams, the passerby rushed to his rescue and immediately rushed him to the hospital.

Unfortunately, doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
