Bhubaneswar, April 23: A book will be published with the best writings of students on the theme 'Mo Katha Mo Kahani' as a part if the recently concluded first world Odia language conference – Biswa Odia Bhasha Sammilani.
Under Mo School Abhiyan, 1 lakh Class IX and X students had produced 1 lakh articles, stories, poems, essays and more on the theme ‘Mo Katha Mo Kahani’ as a part of the Odia conference. The Sahitya Srujani students clubs in schools were entrusted the responsibility to flourish the creativity of students through mother tongue.
In a bid to inspire the participants of the programme, the School and Mass Education Department has decided to publish the best writings. Experts in children's literature will be assigned to review the writing and edit the good ones. Later, it will be published as a book. The books will be available on online platform.
The department has formed a team to select contents and content specific books will be prepared with needs pictures and attractive designs, said a senior official of the department.
Notably, the first world Odia language conference – Biswa Odia Bhasha Sammilani - was held from February 3 to 5, with the tagline ‘Language is the Future’.
