Priyanka Gandhi lambastes BJP on change of constitution issue

Latur (Maharashtra), April 27 : Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra recently claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders who are discussing changes to the Constitution are doing so “with the backing of Prime Minister Narendra Modi” 

 During an election rally in Latur, she launched a frontal broadside against PM Modi, asserting that BJP ministers and leaders have openly stated that the Constitution will be altered after securing 400-plus seats, and this is happening “with the PM’s concurrence” . 

Priyanka Gandhi also accused the BJP of wanting to change the Constitution to deprive the masses of their equal rights guaranteed by the Constitution and weaken the nation. However, after the matter became public, PM Modi attempted to dismiss it and denied any attempts to tinker with the Constitution .

 

In her address, Priyanka Gandhi emphasized the importance of safeguarding democracy and the Constitution. She urged people to vote wisely for their future and the country’s progress . Additionally, she criticized PM Modi for diverting attention from major concerns by making absurd claims, such as how the Congress party would run an X-ray machine and seize people’s belongings or wealth .. Priyanka Gandhi highlighted the need to hold the exalted position of PM with dignity and integrity .
