Bhubaneswar, Sept 11: Vigilance officials conducted a raid on properties associated with Prasanna Kumar Swain, the Assistant Engineer of the Irrigation Division in Bhanjanagar, Ganjam. The operation revealed assets worth crores connected to Swain and his family, including six multi-story buildings and five high-value plots.
During house searches so far, the following assets have been unearthed in the name of Swain and his family members;
1. One four storeyed building with area approx. 9000 Sqft. at Tulsinagar of Berhampur worth approx. Rs.2.4 Crore.
2. Another four storeyed residential building with area approx. 6000 Sqft. located at Bagdevi Road, Bhejiput road, Bhanjanagar.
3. One triple storeyed building with area approx. 3000 Sqft. at Bagdevi road, Bhejiput, Bhanjanagar.
4. Another triple storeyed building with area approx. 2500 Sqft. located at Bhanajanagar.
5. Double storeyed under construction building with area approx. 5850 Sqft. at NAC Bhanjanagar.
6. Double storeyed paternal house with area approx. 1130 Sqft. at Luduludi under Bhanjanagar PS, Dist-Ganjam.
7. 5 high value home stead plots* including 1 in Berhampur & 4 in and around Bhanjanagar.

Till last reports came in, the searches were underway while the total value of his properties was yet to be calculated.
