Mumbai, April 18: Mumbai Crime Branch officials revealed that the individuals involved in the shooting outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's residence in Mumbai had no intention of murdering him. Instead, their aim was to intimidate him.

The perpetrators had conducted a reconnaissance of Salman Khan's farmhouse in Panvel prior to the incident. On an early Sunday morning, two assailants on a motorcycle fired multiple shots outside Galaxy Apartments in Bandra and swiftly fled the scene. The shooters, identified as Sagar Pal (21) and Vicky Gupta (24), were apprehended by the Mumbai Police on Monday night from a village in Kutch district, Gujarat.

Described as a meticulously planned attack, CCTV footage captured one of the suspects firing towards Salman Khan's residence.
Hours following the incident, Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, took responsibility for the shooting in a social media post. He warned the actor that what occurred was merely a preview of what's to come.
