Bhubaneswar, Ap 17: Odisha continued to boil under the scorching heat. The State is likely to experience unbearable heat in next three days and temperature of above 40 degree Celsius is likely to be experienced.
The India Meteorological Centre (IMD) has issued a yellow warning due to the heat-wave condition in Odisha. The temple city of Bhubaneswar is sizzling at 33.4°C at 8:30am.
Further, the Regional Meteorological Center has issued yellow warning for Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi district (34.8°C), Talcher(34.4°C), Balasore (34.4°C), Baripada (33.6°C), Bhubaneswar(33.4°C), Chandali (33.2°C), Jagatsinghpur (33.2°C), Hirakud (32.8°C), Keonjhar(32.4°C), Jharsuguda(32.4°C), Titlagarh(32°C), Boudh (32°C), and Puri (32°C).
The IMD regional centre here has advised people to take precautionary measures while going outside during the time between 11 am to 3 pm.
