Jajpur, April 15: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday announced ex-gratia of Rs 3 lakh each to the next of kin of deceased who were killed in the bus accident took place at Kuakhai flyover in Jajpur this evening.
The CM also directed the administration to expedite the rescue operations and provide immediate and adequate treatment to the injured ones.
Worth mentioning, as many as 5 passengers were killed and at least 40 others were injured in the road mishap after a private bus, ferrying full of passengers, skidded off the Kuakhai flyover while it was heading for Digha on its way from Puri.
