Income tax officers raided the home of businessman and former Congress MLA Sardar Inder Singh. A quiet morning quickly turned into a historic operation, uncovering Rs 16 million (around $180,000) in unaccounted cash and gold. The operation lasted 18 hours and required 45 officials to count the seized money.
