Bhubaneswar, July 2: Bhubaneswar, Puri, and Khurdha have been declared as no-fly zones during President Droupadi Murmu's official Odisha visit. The President will be in Odisha from July 6 to July 9.
The Directorate of Intelligence in the state capital has declared Bhubaneswar, Puri, and Khurdha as no-fly and no-drone zones for the duration of President Droupadi Murmu's visit to Odisha. President Murmu is scheduled to attend various programmes in these cities and towns during her stay.
Highlights of her itinerary include attending the 96th death anniversary of Pandit Utkalmani Gopabandhu Das at Jayadev Bhawan in Bhubaneswar on July 6. The following day, she will witness the world-famous Rath Yatra in Puri and spend the night in the holy town, followed by a morning walk on Puri beach on July 8.
President Murmu will return to Bhubaneswar later in the morning and visit the Khandagiri and Udaygiri caves in the afternoon. She will also interact with students at Bibhuti Kanungo College of Arts and Crafts and attend an event at Devine Retreat Centre in Mendhashala Haridamada locality in the afternoon.
On July 9, the President will attend the 13th Convocation of the National Institute of Science Education and Research Centre (NISER) in Jatni before departing for New Delhi.
