Bhubaneswar, January 7: The Income Tax Department on Tuesday conducted simultaneous raids on the establishments of conwoman Hansita Abhilipsa and her fiancé Anil Mohanty who have allegedly duped score of moneyed people with their highprofile tricks.
The IT officials have initiated raids at as many as 12 locations including Bhubaneswar, Delhi, and Jharkhand associated with Hansita Abhilipsa and his fiancé Anil Mohanty today.
According to sources, the IT sleuths are scanning the illegal assets of the duo with taking account of their movable and immovable properties.
According to the police, the two were arrested for duping a lots of builders and businessmen impersonating as relatives (daughter and son-in-law) of the Prime Minister's Principal Secretary PK Mishra. They used to negotiate deals with them to tender high-valued quotations and volunteering projects in favour of their firms.
Reports suggest that Hansita possesses a number of luxurious cars with acquisition of high-value assets, including cash and jewelry with the illegally earned money.
