Bhubaneswar, October 3: An adulterated ghee manufacturing unit was busted in Cuttack, Odisha on Wednesday night.
This unit, located at Gabagasta under Sadar police limits, was raided by a police team following a tip-off about adulteration activities.
During the raid, a large quantity of fake ghee, edible oil, machinery worth lakhs of rupees, and packaging materials with logos of different brands were also seized.
The owner of the factory has been detained for questioning, and the unit has been sealed.
This raid follows the recent seizure of adulterated ghee in the Malgodown area, which led police to uncover this fake manufacturing unit.
