Bhubaneswar, June 11: All government institutions, including state government offices and revenue and magisterial courts (executive) within the jurisdiction of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, will be closed after 1 pm on June 12 (Wednesday) due to the swearing-in ceremony of the new Odisha Chief Minister and other cabinet ministers, read a notification from the Revenue and Disaster Management Department.
Worth mentioning, the swearing-in-ceremony of the new Chief Minister has been scheduled to be held on June 12 (Wednesday) at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Bhubaneswar at 2.10 pm and proceed to Raj Bhavan from the airport. He will reach Janata Maidan later to attend the oath-taking ceremony.
Commissionerate Police has decided to mobilize a total of 59 platoons of security forces including one IG, three DIGs, 13 SP and DCP rank officers, 18 Additional SPs, 58 DSPs, 94 Inspectors and 312 SIs and ASIs, 28 Commandants will be in charge of security to maintain law and order situation
