LSG vs CSK

Lucknow, April 19: Will it be a close contest? Or, will it be yet another one-sided affair for Chennai Super Kings in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024?

As of past history, both sides have equal records against each other. Obviously, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will be keen to do well at their home ground (Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium), here.

On the other hand, CSK despite a change in leadership this season (Ruturaj Gaikwad succeeding MS Dhoni) have not disheartened their supporters as well. They appear to be on the right track of their title defence. Needless to remind that CSK won their fifth IPL title in 2023.

IPL followers might be keen to watch yet another close contest  on Friday between LSG and CSK in the 34th match of this season, Lucknow fans definitely would love to see K L Rahul & Co win the match on their home turf.

Five-time champions CSK are currently third on the points table with eight points from six games. On the other hand, LSG are fifth with three wins.

The two teams have met three times in the tournament with both teams winning each and one match was washed out.
