Odisha CM kickstarts global investment roadshow at New Delhi, showcases state's industrial potential

Bhubaneswar, October 3:  The Odisha government took a significant step forward today by hosting two high-profile events in New Delhi to showcase the state's industrial potential, setting the stage for the Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave 2025. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi led both sessions, which attracted ambassadors, high commissioners, and leading industrialists.

At the Ambassadors' Meet held at ITC Maurya, CM Mohan Charan Majhi highlighted Odisha's industrial growth, focusing on job creation, investor-friendly policies, and security for businesses.

 The evening session at the Taj Palace emphasized Odisha's transformation into a hub for industrial activity and its readiness for global partnerships, with a notable speech from Jual Oram, Union Minister of Tribal Affairs. He urged industries to integrate tribal communities in development strategies.

Key dignitaries, including Manoj Ahuja, Odisha's Chief Secretary, and Hemant Sharma, Principal Secretary of Industries, highlighted the state's achievements in business reforms, emphasizing ease of doing business through advanced digital platforms. Industry leaders like Harish Ahuja of Shahi Exports and Puneet Dalmia of Dalmia Bharat Group shared their experiences, further showcasing Odisha's growth potential.

 

With the upcoming Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, today's events successfully positioned Odisha as a prime destination for investment and industrial expansion.
