Bhubaneswar, Aug 13: The Odisha Government is set to reopen former Health Minister Naba Das’ brutal assasination case who was allegedly shot dead by an Odisha Cop.
It was revealed after the Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan informed media that mystery still shrouds over the brutal assassination of Das by a Police ASI who was on duty, needs to be re-investigated.
The incident in which a standing and prominent Minister like Naba Das was shot dead in broad daylight should not be shabbily dealt with. It should be taken up as a serious threat to the system of governance, Harichandan added.
Harichandan further stated that apart from Naba Das' murder case, the assassination of Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati, teacher Mamita Meher murder and some other odius cases will be re-investigated rightously.
