Bhubaneswar, December 21: The Bhubaneswar Patha Utsav, scheduled for December 22, 2024, has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions caused by a depression, as announced by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on its X account.
Patha Ustav was planned planned for 6 AM at Master Canteen Square on December 22, 2024.
“Due to prevailing bad weather conditions…The Bhubaneswar Patha Utsav on 22nd December 2024 i.e tomorrow is postponed. The next date and venue will be communicated. Stay tuned!”
The Patha Utsav is a street festival launched in 2016 by the BMC to promote awareness of social and civic issues while celebrating art, culture, and environmental sustainability.
The event faced interruptions, including a suspension during the COVID-19 pandemic, before making a comeback on December 25, 2022. It was also celebrated multiple times during the Men’s Hockey World Cup in Odisha in January 2023. The new date and venue for the festival are awaited.
