Bhubaneswar, Mar 24: In a special operation targeting illegal cattle transportation, Odisha Police seized 87 cattle, arrested seven individuals, and confiscated six vehicles.
According to a statement from the Odisha Police Headquarters, the successful operation was carried out by the Eastern Range, Balasore, on March 23, 2025.
The drive was conducted in accordance with laws regulating cattle transportation, leading to the arrest of seven people and the seizure of six vehicles involved in the illegal activity.
This operation underscores the police's commitment to upholding the law and safeguarding animal welfare. Authorities have vowed to continue taking stringent actions against those engaged in illegal cattle transportation.
