Bhubaneswar, Dec 20: The much-awaited Path Utsav 2024 will commence in Bhubaneswar on December 22nd, 2024. The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) aims to celebrate this year's event in a new format with fresh approaches, taking into account feedback from previous years. The BMC has announced the details through social media platforms.

A key highlight of this year's Path Utsav will be the welcoming of overseas Indian guests during the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (Indian Diaspora Day), which will take place from January 8 to 10, 2024, in the capital city.
The Path Utsav will begin on Sunday, December 22nd, from Master Canteen Square and proceed to the Ram Mandir area. The main stage will be set up at Master Canteen Square, while a second stage will be constructed near the Ram Mandir. The event will feature a wide range of activities including dance, music, jhoti (traditional dance), yoga, skating, cycling, basketball, ludo, quiz competitions, rangoli, magic shows, clay art, face painting, and zumba, among others.
Various officers have been assigned responsibilities to manage and coordinate different aspects of the Path Utsav. The event is expected to be a vibrant celebration of culture, sports, and community participation.
