New Delhi, March 4: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday commended the innovative wildlife conservation, rescue, and rehabilitation project 'Vantara', which he visited earlier this week, and urged people to embrace kindness towards animals.
On Sunday, Modi visited Vantara, a dedicated animal rescue and rehabilitation center located in Gujarat's Jamnagar district.
Spanning over 3,000 acres, Vantara is situated within the Reliance Industries' Jamnagar refinery complex. The center focuses on the welfare of captive elephants and wildlife, offering sanctuary, rehabilitation, and medical care to animals that have been rescued from exploitation and abuse.
