Bhubaneswar, Dec 17: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Odisha twice in January to attend two government programmes.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi would visit Odisha during January 2025 to grace the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) and Utkarsh Odisha Conclave-2025,” Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said on Monday.
The PBD is celebrated once in every two years to strengthen the engagement of the overseas Indian community with their country and reconnect them with their cultural roots. The 18th PBD Convention is being held from 8th-10th January, 2025 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The theme of the 18th PBD Convention 2025 is "Diaspora's Contribution to a Viksit Bharat"
Similarly, the Utkarsh Odisha conclave will be held on January 27 and 28. The conclave aims to attract both domestic and international investments across a diverse range of sectors, positioning Odisha as the industrial powerhouse of Eastern India.
