Bhubaneswar, Mar 24: President Draupadi Murmu is set visit Chhattisgarh and Odisha for a series of events in two states.
The President will leave Rashtrapati Bhawan at 8:30 am and take a special IAF flight at 8:55 am. She would arrive at Raipur's Swami Vivekananda Airport at 10:35 am. She will thereafter drive down to the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly at 10:45 am to address the assembly members on the occasion of celebration of Silver Jubilee Year.
President Murmu will depart from Chhattisgarh for Bhubaneswar, Odisha, at 12:30 pm and arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport at 1:30 pm. She will then travel to Nayagarh district from the airport in a special IAF helicopter. She is to land at the Paltan Ground helipad at 2:10 pm and pay a visit to the famous Nilamadhaba Temple in Kantilo at 3:00 pm for a darshan of the god after resting at the Kantilo Guest House. Her temple visit is likely to take place from 3:05 pm to 3:25 pm.
Then, President Murmu will proceed to the Bharatiya Biswabasu Shabar Samaj Foundation in Kalia Palli, Nayagarh, where she will be chief guest at the foundation ceremony. She will then leave after the function at 4:45 pm and arrive at the Paltan Ground helipad at 4:55 pm. She will then leave for Bhubaneswar airport at 5:35 pm and proceed to Raj Bhawan for dinner and a night stay.
President Murmu will depart from Bhubaneswar at 9:20 am on March 25, heading to Delhi via a special IAF flight. She will arrive at Palam Airport at 11:25 am and reach Rashtrapati Bhawan by 11:50 am.
