Bolangir, Jan 5: In a tragic incident, at least two persons were killed and another was injured in a road mishap in Patnagarh locality of Odisha’s Bolangir district.
The deceased have been identified as Rajesh Sahu (19) from Kutumunda village and Rakhyakari Nayak (50) from Tendapadar village.
According to reports, the mishap took place in Sarmuhan village when Rakshyakari Nayak was walking home and was struck by a motorcycle ridden by Rajesh Sahu and his friend Chudamani Kanda. The duo died on the spot and Chudamani sustained injuries in the incident.
Upon getting the information, police arrived at the spot and seized the bodies. Subsequently, they were sent for post-mortem. However, Chudamani is currently undergoing treatment.
Further investigation into the matter was underway.
