Bhubaneswar, July 27: At a time when lady journalist Madhumita Parida’s tragic death has been a talk of the town, the Indian Airforce (IAF) authorities have begun probe into the matter.
A team of the IAF on Saturday reached the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) office and the Dhauli police station, to take stock of the matter.
Sources said, the IAF officials inquired about the matter from the Investigation Officer (IO) to ascertain the involvement of the spouse, who is reportedly an IAF official, in abating Madhumita to commit suicide.
Meanwhile, the Dhauli Police has seized the scooter of Madhusmita which she rode to the crime spot - Bapuji Nagar Railway overbridge -on the fateful day.
As a part of investigation, the investigation team has scanned the CCTV footages near the Bapuji Nagar overbridge, to get further clues. Similarly, cell phones of deceased Madhumita and her husband were sent to the Forensic lab to ascertain the involvement of the paramours, in provoking the scibe to take the extreme step.
