Bhubaneswar, Aug 30: The Odisha government on Friday issued a toll-free number for Subhadra Yojana, a flagship scheme for the welfare of the women between 21 and 60 years of age.
The toll-free number is 14678. One can get basic information and essential technical assistance on the Subhadra Yojna.
The Women and Child Development (W&CD) department has issued the toll-free number before rolling out the scheme in the state. Beneficiaries can get details on Subhadra Yojana by calling on the number between 6 am and 10 pm.
The state government is all set to launch the Subhadra Yojana aimed at empowering women financially. More than one crore eligible women of 21-60 years age group, under BPL category would get Rs 10,000 in a year for five years under the scheme.
Worth mentioning, the Subhadra Yojna is scheduled to be launched by PM Narendra Modi on his birthday on September 17.
