Bhubaneswar, August 16: Amrit Mohanty, a student of engineering at the SOA Deemed to be University here, will be competing in the International Challenge to be held at Pekanbaru City in Indonesia from August 20 to 25.
Mohanty, who is in 4th year of Computer Science Engineering at the Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), will be featuring in the men’s doubles event. This will be the first international engagement for the young player.
Mohanty, who had finished runner-up in the Under-19 boys singles and Under-17 boys doubles in the state badminton championship in 2019, will be partnering Abhijit Maharana in doubles in the tournament.
