Bhubaneswar: With a more rugged look, after the huge success of KGF Chapter 1 and KGF Chapter 2, Rocky bhai has now geared up for his next pan-India release Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown Ups.
The new release date for this film has been announced Saturday: Toxic will hit cinemas on March 19, 2026.
Yash’s Toxic plot revolves around a drug cartel in Goa and explores the themes of power and morality.
Earlier, director Geetu Mohandas has shared that Toxic is designed to tell a story that crosses language and cultural barriers. She said, “The movie blends artistic storytelling with commercial cinema, ensuring a gripping narrative.”
The glimpse of Toxic released on Yash birthday hints that the film will deliver high-intensity actions sequences for the movie watchers. Reports suggest famous Hollywood action director J.J. Perry, known for his work on "John Wick" and "Fast & Furious," is involved in the film, for working on the high-octane action sequences.
The film has a star cast of Kiara Advani, who plays Yash’s love interest, Nayanthara portrays his sister. The film’s main antagonist is played by Huma Qureshi. Akshay Oberoi is also part of Toxic, marking his debut in Kannada cinema.
As the film is set for global release on March 19, 2026, reports claim that 20th Century Fox will be its global distributor. The film will also be released in other Indian languages like Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil.

As per reports, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Aalia Bhatt Love and War is also set to release on Eid 2026, thereby setting the stage for these two films having a face off against each other at the box office.
Even reports have suggested that Shah Rukh Khan and Siddarth Anand’s King is also set for Eid 2026 release. As the film’s shooting has been delayed, it seems SRK’s King will unlikely to be released on 2026 Eid.
So, as of now, it’s Love & War vs. Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups in March 2026, setting up a big box office clash.
