16-member committee to decide on inventory of Ratna Bhandar on July 6

Bhubaneswar, July 4: A 16-member committee would decide on the inventory of the Puri Ratna Bhandar, said Odisha Law Minister Prithwiraj Harichandan on Thursday.
Responding to the media Harichandan said that the government is all set to constitute a Ratna Bhandar Execution committee led by Justice Biswanath Rath. The Committee would also comprise 15 others including Gajapati Maharaj Dibyasingha Deba, SJTA Chief Administrator and two Core servitors.
The committee will finalise date on Saturday (July 6) for opening the inner- Ratna Bhandar and prepare a roadmap for assessment(inventory) of the gems and jewels treasured in it, the minister added.
