Puri, July 5:Puri district administration on Friday launched a mobile application (Android App) ‘Rath Yatra 2024’ to watch the world famous car festival online.
With help of the mobile App, tourists can be easily informed regarding the route map, public amenities including, health centre, police aid-posts, child desks, helpline, information centre, temporary shelters, wheelchair arrangement for PwDs, lifeguard service, control room, etc.
The navigation facility compatible in the App can guide outsiders to locate nearby bus-stop, railway station and other public utility provisions.
One can download the Rath Yatra 2024 App through a QR code on all Android mobile phones. All other necessary information on Rath Yatra to Niladri Bije will be made available in the App.
Puri Collector Siddharth Shankar Swain while elaborating the multifaceted application of the app said that the smart tool will be helpful for the outsiders during the crowded Rath Yatra in getting essential information and smart messages relating to the Rath Yatra and Bahuda Yatra.
