Harirajpur, Mar 24: The Panchudola Melan, a popular Odisha festival, started in Khordha’s Harirajpur. This vibrant celebration is held in honor of the revered Shree Paschimasambhu Somnath Dev, located in the picturesque Harirajpur region. The cultural heritage festival is attended by the pilgrims and visitors from across the state.
One of the biggest attractions in the Panchudola Melana is the world-class firework display, which attracts huge audiences every year.
Around 100 elaborately decorated dolas came from Khordha and Puri districts, where the dolas were decorated with the pictures of the deities on them. The festival is quite vibrant, and traditional shows like fireworks, lightings, and bells create an environment of enthusiasm.
The highlight of the celebration is the convergence of all the dolas that showcases an unforgettable display of devotion and culture.
