Rourkela, Dec 9: Meet Arunima Thakur from Odisha’s Rourkela, who has secured the All-India Rank 1 (AIR-1) in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 Postgraduate examination. With a percentile score of 99.993, she emerged as the highest scorer among more than 50,000 candidates who appeared for the exam.
Hailing from Sector-18 in Rourkela, she revealed that, over the past year, she devoted herself to extensive reading beyond the prescribed syllabus, focusing on refining her legal knowledge and aptitude skills.
The CLAT exam, known for its complexity and length, features a paper with approximately 24 passages spread over 44 pages.
Arunima noted that a combination of sharp reading and analytical skills is crucial to managing the demanding time constraints of the two-hour test. Her ability to quickly assess and answer questions played a key role in her triumph.
Expressing her future aspirations, Arunima shared her ambition to continue her studies in law and contribute to enhancing the legal system of the country.
