Bhubaneswar, Oct 5: The Damana Gopinath Jew Durga Puja 2023 committee here is all set to welcome Goddess Durga with the pandal on the theme of Mahabharat's Virat Raja Palace this year.
As many as 17 artists from West Bengal are working hard to make the 78 feet tall and 100 feet wide pandal while the altar will be 14 feet high and the idol will be 12 feet tall. Four experienced artisans are busy making the idol as per Dussehra rituals.

The committee has laid out a budget of Rs 30 lakh for Durga Puja 2023. Goddess Durga will wear a silver crown and other silver ornaments.
"This year the celebration reached its 12th year. We have laid out a budget of over Rs 20 lakh for pandal and decoration,” said committee president Nishakar Sahoo.
Our pandal draws huge crowds every year and people appreciate our creativity and the theme. Around 100 volunteers will be deployed for crowd management and eight CCTV cameras will be installed for peaceful celebration. Melody and cultural programs have been arranged for five days, he added.
