Bhubaneswar, July 4: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will officially start working from the Odisha Secretariat (Lok Seva Bhawan) today. He will occupy his office on the third floor of the Secretariat Building.
Previously, the Chief Minister’s office operated temporarily from the State Guest House in Bhubaneswar. Today marks the shift back to the Secretariat.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to attend the annual meeting of the Revenue Department today. As the chairman of this committee, he will be joined by Deputy Chief Ministers Kanakvardhan Singhdeo and Pravati Parida, along with several ministers and MPs.
Key officials, including Chief Administrative Secretary Manoj Ahuja, Revenue Secretary, and Additional Chief Secretary Satyabrata Sahu, will also participate in the meeting.
The agenda includes the preparation of a long-term action plan to address potential floods, storms, and other natural calamities during the rainy season. Discussions will cover the condition and repair of weak riverbanks, relief preparations, and other related issues.
Additionally, the meeting will review details from the session chaired by former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik last year.
