Cuttack, March 19: The Orissa High Court on Wednesday sought clarification from the Odisha government regarding belongings of the Puri Ratna Bhandar.
A Bench of the Orissa High Court issued directions to the government to clear the air on making public the enquiry commission’s report.
Two affidavits filed by the state government came under scrutiny concerning the public release of the inquiry commission report related to the missing keys of Ratna Bhandar.
On the other hand, a dissimilar affidavit on the same issue was submitted on April 5, 2024. The affidavit indicated that the government would make the Commission of enquiry report accessible to the public.
The anomaly in both the affidavits prompted the High Court to seek clarification on the matter.
The High Court has scheduled the next hearing of the case next week.
