Bhubaneswar, March 15: Holi turned tragic for two families in Bhubaneswar, as two youths were brutally killed during the holy celebration on Saturday.
According to sources, a youth, identified as Gopi Guli, was stabbed to death at Shantipalli slum near Sahid Nagar amid the holi festivity.
In another gruesome case one identified as Anshuman Pati was stabbed to death in the Sameigadia area under the Mancheswar police limit in the high noon.
According to sources, Guli had some previous enmity with some of his friends. Today an altercation took place during colour exchange, that tured violent wherein miscreants stabbed him to death
Guli’s wife also sustained serious injuries in the attack as she raised protest in a bid to save his spouse.
Similarly, Pati was chased by the miscreants and stabbed to death on the street on the Sahidnagar area during the holi celebration.
Police recovered the bodies from the crimespot, sent them for postmortem and initiated manhunts to nab the miscreants.
