Sambalpur, Mrch 15: In a gruesome incident, a youth was stabbed to death in Samablpur amid the Holi celebration on Saturday.
The incident took place at the Sahoo Colony in Sambalpur town in the afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Aditya Salma.
According to sources, one Sahul Singh called Salma from his house to play Holi. Meanwhile, he stabbed him to death due to his previous enmity with Salma.
ASP Sambalpur, Ajay Mishra said, Salma was recued form the spot and rushed to the DHH Sambalpur for resuscitation. However,he was no more for receiving any treatment he was declared brought dead.
The accused has been apprehended whereas the weapon used in the crime was also seized from his possession, Mishra added.
