Mumbai, Mar 15: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan wrapped up the shooting for his much-awaited action thriller Sikandar and shaved off his beard, which he had grown for the film.
According to the film’s team, the last scene was shot in Bandra with co-star Rashmika Mandanna, and the shoot ended around 8:30 PM. The first thing that Salman did right after wrapping up the shoot was shave his beard, as he prefers a clean-shaven look in real life.
The final part of the shoot took place in Mumbai, with director A.R. Murugadoss and producer Sajid Nadiadwala also present. The film was shot over 90 days in multiple locations, including Mumbai and Hyderabad. It features four songs, three dance numbers, and five major action sequences.
Last month, Salman released an exciting teaser for the film. In it, he plays a character named Sanjay, who is lovingly called Sikandar by his grandmother. The teaser is packed with action and powerful dialogues, including "Kayde mein raho fayde mein rahoge" and "Insaaf nahi hisab karne aaya hun," delivered in Salman’s signature style.
Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, known for Ghajini and Thuppakki, and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar marks Salman’s reunion with Nadiadwala after their 2014 hit Kick.
The film is set to release this Eid, and fans can also look forward to Kick 2 in the coming months.
