New Delhi, March 8: President Droupadi Murmu has highlighted the importance of enhancing women’s participation in the workforce as India aims to become the world’s third-largest economy.
In her address on International Women’s Day here, during a national consultation organized by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, President Murmu stressed that equal access to education and employment opportunities is vital for achieving this economic milestone.
"As India moves towards becoming the world’s third-largest economy, it is essential that women's participation in the workforce grows in parallel," she stated.
