Bhubaneswar, Dec 9: Every district in Odisha will have a Medical College, said Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling in the Assembly on Monday.
Underlining the futuristic roadmap of the state government for a healthy & wealthy Odisha, Mahaling said that all the districts would have robust healthcare facilities.
Establishing new Medical Colleges across the state is the top priority among other infrastructural developments in the health sector, Mahaling added. The government is all set a Medical College in Bhadrak soon.
The Health Minister further said that, at least 5000 doctors will be recruited soon which will address the scarcity of physicians in the rural pockets.
