Former Minister Debasis Nayak joins BJP

Bhubaneswar, Feb 25: Hours after resigning from the ruling BJD, former Minister Debasis Nayak today joined Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) here in the presence of state president Manmohan Samal.

Nayak, a former MLA from Bari in Jajpur district, had resigned from Biju Janata Dal (BJD) today. He had sent his resignation letter to BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

Similarly, Nihar Mahananda, former Congress MLA from Atabira, has also joined BJP today. Mahanada had resigned from Congress party last month. 

Gunamani Biswal, former director of NTPC has also joined BJP in the presence of Manmohan Samal at party headquarters here.
