Addressing the USISPF India Leadership Summit 2024 in New Delhi today, Minister Pradhan highlighted its pivotal role in equipping India's young population to become future-ready, responsible global citizens.
Pradhan remarked that NEP 2020, now in its fourth year, is more than just an educational framework—it is a visionary document focused on fostering confidence and competence among students.
He noted that in the next two decades, India is poised to be the global economy's growth engine, driven by its young demographic.
The NEP's focus on integrating technology, promoting Indian languages, and fostering research and innovation is designed to position India to leverage its demographic dividend.
He also underscored the policy's emphasis on equitable, inclusive, affordable, and high-quality education, ensuring opportunities for all.
Inviting foreign universities to establish campuses in India was another strategic move aimed at providing access to global standard education within the country.
