Mumbai, Oct 13: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has cancelled the shoot of his reality show ‘Bigg Boss 18’ following an NCP politician, Baba Siddique’s killing by aides of a notorious gang on Saturday.
Deeply shocked by the loss of a favorite person Salman quickly decided to postpone the shoot of Bigg Boss 18 Weekend Ka Vaar which was scheduled to be taken up this week.
Besides the Reality Show shooting, the Bhai Jaan reportedly rescheduled some of his significant assignments and tour programs, stunned by Siddique’s unprecedented assassination when he sought to stand beside the bereaved family members of his departed friend.
On being informed of the death of Siddique Salman’s expression showed his grief and anger over the situation. As he made his way into the Lilavati hospital where Baba Siddique was admitted for resuscitation, he was found with his eys watered with sorrows and compassion. which visibly frustrated him. He shook his head in disapproval, clearly upset finding Baba’s body covered with a white bedsheet, severely stained with blood. At about 3.30 AM he came back to his Galaxy Apartments with a heavy heart bidding a tearful adieu to his dear one and due condolence to Baba’s bereaved son who was standing by the bed.
Baba Siddique, who joined Ajit Pawar faction of NCP, died after being shot at by aides of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang on Saturday. The firing took place outside his MLA son Zeeshan Siddique’s office near Colgate ground in Nirmal Nagar in the Bandra area of Mumbai.
Salman and Baba Siddique were close friends as the politician held the constituency where Salman lives. Baba Siddique’s Iftar parties were considered one of the high-profile events of India’s entertainment capital.
