Bhubaneswar: The long wait for Krrish 4 might be ending soon.
The Krrish 3 released in 2013 had turned a blockbuster by garnering over 2.18cr footfalls. Fans of the Greek God have been waiting since then to watch their favourite star reaturning on big screen with Krish 4.
Hrthik father and producer of Krrish franchise, Rakesh Roshan has confirmed that the next chapter of the superhero franchise is almost ready. He teased an official announcement that sparked major excitement.
RAKESH SHARES UPDATE ON KRRISH 4
In a recent chat with ANI, when he was asked about the film’s status. The actor and famous director responded, “Yes, it’s almost ready now. I’ll be announcing very soon.”
Fans have been waiting for the Krrish updates for years, and this statement has only added to the hype.
This time, Rakesh Roshan will not be directing the film. He previously helmed Koi… Mil Gaya, Krrish, and Krrish 3, but has now stepped away from directing.
Recentley speaking to another entertainment website, Rakesh explained, “The day has to come when I have to pass on the baton.”
He said he wanted to oversee the project while letting someone else handle the direction.
He also added, “There’s no guarantee that if Rakesh Roshan directs Krrish 4, it’ll be a blockbuster.”
RAKESH SHOWS CONFIDENCE OVER KRRISH 4 PLOT
It seems the directed who had given blockbusters like Khoon Bhari Maang, Khudgarz to Krissh 3 has perfected the script for Krrish 4.
Because, in a 2023 interview, he had then shared that while the script was ready, he was still making some changes.
He then said, “We have the script ready, but we keep on improvising. I still feel there is some scope for improvement. We can’t make films on budgets as high as Hollywood, and hence, our content has to be strong and new in this world of superheroes.”
He also called the story “magical” and promised that it would grab the audience’s attention in the first 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan is preparing for War 2, a major film in the YRF Spy Universe. The movie stars Kiara Advani and Jr NTR alongside him.
The film is set for a worldwide release on August 14, 2025.
Hrithik is also expected to shoot a much-awaited dance-off sequence in May, which got delayed due to his leg injury during the rehearsal.
