The artwork beautifully portrays Lord Shiva with a snake coiled around his neck, surrounded by intricately designed Shiva Lingas and Kumbhas.
Adding to the visual impact, "Har Har Mahadev, Mahakumbha, Maha Shivaratri" were inscribed in the sand.
Pattnaik used approximately eight tons of sand for the creation, with assistance from students of his sand art institute.
