Motorbike rider dies in fatal crash in Odisha’s Gajapati

Gajapati, Dec 27: In a tragic incident, a motorbike rider lost his life after crashing into the boundary wall of a bridge and falling 20 feet with his vehicle near Ledbandh in Mohana area in Odisha’s Gajapati district, on late Thursday night.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been confirmed.
According to reports, locals noticed the bike falling from the bridge and immediately alerted the police and Mohana Fire Services. Fire Services personnel arrived at the scene, rescued the man from beneath the bridge, and rushed him to the hospital.
Despite their efforts, doctors at the hospital declared the biker dead on arrival. The police have recovered the body and sent it for a post-mortem examination.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident and have seized the motorbike involved in the incident.
