Bhubaneswar, Oct 30: All Anganwadi workers across the state will get financial assistance under the SUBHADRA Scheme, said Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Wednesday.
Underlining the importance of the flagship scheme, Parida said that a few Anganwadi workers who were exluded from availing the assistance will get it in the third phase of payment.
Speaking to the media in Bhubaneswar, Parida said, “Many Anganwadi workers, who were not included under the scheme in the first and second phase were in utter darkness, whether they are eligible for the scheme. I assure them that they will get assistance in the third phase.”
Every eligible beneficiary is going to avail the benefit as the reject list of applicants is being reviewed for payment.
Worth mentioning, under Subhadra Yojana eligible beneficiaries under the age group of 21 to 60 years will get Rs 50000 assistance in 10 installments (Rs 5000 each).
