Bhubaneswar: The third home match of Odisha Fc against Kerala Blasters ended with a 2-2 goals draw in the Indian Super League 2024 at Kalinga Stadium here on Thursday.
Fourth placed Kerala Blaster put forward an aggressive start, in the second minute of the play Danish Farooq entered the OFC penalty box and was denied by Fall’s sliding tackle. The home team Odisha FC changed their gear by attacking from both the flanks, It was an own goal by Alexandre Coeff of Blasters in the 29th minute. The dependable striker of Odisha FC Mauricio scored the equaliser in the 36th minute and brought back his team into the contest. The first half scoreboard read as 2-2.
After the change of sides, both the teams got scoring opportunities but failed to capitalise the situation and the match ended with a 2-2 draw. Both the teams shared one point each. Blasters with 5 points placed at fourth, while Odisha Fc with 4 points placed at the ninth place by the end of four league matches.
