Bhubaneswar, January 26: Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati on Sunday awarded 38 police personnel for their exceptional contributions in Bhubaneswar.
These police personnel were awarded with Police Service Medals at a ceremony held at Lok Seva Bhawan. The awards celebrated their distinguished service from 2019 to 2024.
The event was graced by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, DGP of Odisha YB Khurania, and other senior officials.
Among the honorees, 18 police officers were acknowledged for their exemplary work in 2024.
Notable awardees included Southern IG Dr. Sarthak Sadangi, OSAP 6th Battalion Commandant Suryanarayan Mallick, Vigilance Additional SP Sushant Kumar Biswal, Ganjam Additional SP Rajiv Lochan Panda, and Crime Branch Inspector Shradhanjali Panda.
These individuals were commended for their dedication and outstanding service in maintaining law and order across the state.
